Data Centre

Data Centre is a building containing computers, with regards the internet, a data centre is usually banks of computers holding data all the files that a website requires.

They are usually highly secure with 24hour security and cctv, have ultra high speed internet connections and generator back up in case of power failures.

Modern data centres can store millions of websites and handle billions of bytes of data transfer every day.
