The Mill Garden And Aquatic Centre
One of the largest selections of tropical, freshwater and marine fish in the UK, a Reptile department with an unparalleled selection of reptiles and accessories, and so much more.
This site is a prime example of how Toucan Web Design can cater for any client, from a small online brochure to a massive multifaceted ecommerce solution for one of the largest aquatic centres in the UK.
The Mill wanted us to keep their separate departments just that, separate, so we devised a Bespoke system that allowed them to have a single administration system with complete control over all the separate stores. To tie the system together nicely we created a global portal page that displays all the top level categories from each store.
After corresponding with The Mill and a couple of visits to the centre we were ready to draw up the design for the first site, knowing that this design would be the basis from which the whole system was built.
We designed the site to their specification and the initial design was instantly a hit, and from there, the rest of the sites were designed, each different enough to be a separate site, whilst keeping the corporate identity of The Mill. Each sub-site was given a brand new logo that retained an overall theme across the project, but was customised to clearly reflect each department.
